We love seeing how other cooks store and organize their spices because we're always on the lookout for that "why didn't I think of that?" tip. This setup and solution might be just what you need to solve your own spice storage frustrations.
Build a Spice Rack With a Ruler!
Amy lives in a small NYC apartment, and needed a super space-saving solution. So she created this gem by purchasing some stainless steel magnetic containers and securing them to the underside of her cabinet with the cheapest of all pre-cut and safe-edged metal strips—two 12″ magnetic rulers. She glued rulers to the underside of the cabinets so the spice tins hang upside down. You can make labels using a easy handheld label maker.
p.s. Even though foam mounting tape can be used, do not use it. Sounds like a good solution but unfortunately, it isn't strong enough, better use Gorila glue.
